Birthday celebration dinner at Antoinette :-)
Really pretty interior. :-)
Had two salads to start! Both of which were really good! Loved the dressing and croutons on the Lyonnaise, and the well-seasoned & tender crab meat and pine nuts on the Antoinette!
Salad Lyonnaise with poached egg, hot smoked pork belly, crouton and mustard vinaigrette.
Salad Antoinette with crab meat, boiled egg, yuzu dressing, pine nuts and toasted brioche.
Beef Bourguignon- braised Wagyu brisket in red wine served with pomme puree and seasonal vegetables. Was r l y tender!
Marinara- Spaghetti sautéed with mussels, scallops, squids, prawns cooked in white wine tomato sauce with chilli and italian parsley. The white wine tomato sauce was particularly tasty with generous amounts of seafood :-)
Confit de Poitrine de Porc- traditional French style Pork belly confit served with garlic mash, seasonal vegetables and mustard sauce. !! Not a fan of pork in general but this was really good with tender meat and a crispy skin (and a thick layer of fat in between). :-)
Florentine Crepe served with serrano ham, emmental cheese and a sunny side up. Cant go wrong with a runny yolk :-) Wish there was more cheese though!
Didn't snap pics of desserts but we had two of their top sellers! The Strawberry Shortcake which had a rly light Chantilly cream (would recommend if you like s'berry shortcakes!) and the Le Royale which had a dark chocolate mousse, almond meringue, hazelnut almond feulletine, chocolate genoise and dark rum :-)
Amazing food overall and not too pricey + lovely ambience and super nice staff who helped with birthday surprise plans!
